Bi-level and Tri-level fully enclosed auto racks are used for the transportation of new automobiles directly from the manufacturer or importer. The principal shippers are the automobile companies, led by GM and Ford. The Bi-Level rack is used for SUV's and Trucks, while the Tri-level rack is suitable for compact or standard automobiles.
